Hello!
I must say that DeviantArt lost some of the magic of old days, at least for me.
This is because of the many new youngsters that only want to Fav and don't even contribute with an ugly conceptual drawing, too many haters, flamers and idiots, the art thieves, petty issues, homophobic and nude-ophobic people and other stupid phobias, cause I'm a phobia-ophobic that hate haters...
Also some old friends left DA, some stayed but never returned to the account, some are here but we just don't chat or chat outside in RL. So, for me, it's becoming a lonely void place with idiot people growing everyday, instead of the old ever so sweet, tolerant, diverse and fun DA. This is the down side of the growth, notoriety, fame and progress of DA over the years. There is always a price to pay for those things.
Anyway, this disappointment hasn't scared me enough to leave DA, but it made me look at things differently.
I'm dedicating myself to home-made crafts like recycling CDs and DVDs into pieces of art and wall decoration, making a few PVC Criptex for my
Geocaching Project and for selling if there is a market for those things, small recycled parts robots, a Theremin, a DIY video projector, some guitar effect pedals, sculptures and so on. So I'll be off DA for a while also, only returning to post the photos of those items mentioned above.
And not forgetting the band I manage, the Tête Plongeant
[link] , my time is very limited right now... And I really need to focus or I'll fall into procrastination again and nothing gets done... again... DAMN IT! >.<"... I really need to focus!
I'm also starting to study some stencil works. I was a graffiti dude, long long LONG time ago and not a good one in fact. I liked the thrill, the smell of paint and running from the police and guards more than painting itself. Good old days...
That is all!
